Hi,

Long time no update, the problem is that every single day we are on our way and doing stuff. Today is the first day i am at my hotel before 10 in the evening.

20-10-2012 was a day to spot sumo wrestlers in the Ryogoku district in Tokyo. We heard there are some school that let people in to watch the training. We were wrong, not a single Sumo school did even bother to let us have a peek. All the schools asked us kindly to leave, some didn't even bother to open the doors.

Tokyo 20121019

Hi all,

Today i woke up very early, because it was time to visit the fish market Tsukiji. Woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning. There is no subway this early in the morning, so took the taxi to Tsukiji market. Arrived at quarter before 5, but at the other way of the market. A friendly man came to us and gave us a ride on his typical fish market "car":

Woke up early, at around 8 am, the view from the hotel is nice, it is a cloudy day but what the hell, I am in Japan :).

Today we went to Asakusa first, which is a very nice place with a nice atmosphere, the nakamise shopping street has very nice small stores and some food stalls which have very tasty food.

Finally after 4 years we arrived again in my favorite country Japan. Arrived in the evening in Tokyo, it was a 1 hour journey from Narita Airport to the Hotel in Shiba. As I remember the public transportation in Tokyo is wonderful and easy to use. Almost every place in Tokyo is easy accesible. After checking in we wanted to eat sushi, so after some search i found this small place which had a french theme with picture of famous french paintings. On the background the music was very dramatic, the famous french style "chanson". The sushi was very tasty. There was only one lady working, which was not to friendly but maybe it was because she was working all alone, taking orders, making and serving sushi.


As the trip was very tiresome, so i went to sleep early ;).
